Did my first author assembly from a wheelchair!

I hurt my back a few weeks ago and have barely been able to walk, let alone stand upright. Undergoing some different treatments right now, but I didn't want to cancel my school assemblies at Shelley Elementary.

Luckily, my amazing wife and dad stepped in to help set everything up while I gave the presentation from a wheelchair that we borrowed from a neighbor.

The kids were awesome and we had fun creating stories together and examining the heroes journey!
